LegalSuite's Web-based Version

We are proud to announce the release of a web-based version of the LegalSuite program. LegalSuite Online allows users to access core parts of the LegalSuite program in their web browser and view their Matters and Parties. Not only can you add and edit File Notes, Fee Notes and Reminders, but it also has some exciting new modules such as the Report Builder, Chart Builder, Email Campaign Manager, and the Document Upload Portal.

LegalSuite Online also allows your Clients (i.e. Parties) to log in and view their Matters online. This can be a very useful option to offer to your Clients. By allowing them to view their Matters online not only enhances the service you provide to your Clients, but also creates the preception that your firm is a high-tech, innovative partner with online capabilities. Furthermore, it also reduces the number of queries from Clients regarding progress updates on their Matters which can free up your staff and improve your productivity.

To ensure data integrity, LegalSuite Online only allows you to view your Matters, the Address Book and the Matter Parties. It does not allow you to edit the Matters or the Parties. These need to be captured in the Desktop version, but you can create and edit File Notes, Fee Notes, Reminders and even upload Documents to the Document Log using the online version.

Because it runs in a browser, LegalSuite Online not only provides you with 24/7/Anywhere access to your data, but it can now provide you with web-based modules which use the power of the Internet to enhance and supplement the functionality of our Desktop-based program.

Note

To enable LegalSuite Online to access you data via the Internet, you must register your system with the LegalSuite API.

Report Builder

LegalSuite Online has an additional module called the LegalSuite Report Builder which allows you to design Reports which can be accessed via the Internet. The Report Builder has been designed to make report design as easy and as intuitive as possbile. Have a look at the right hand page to find out more or click on the video below:

Chart Builder

Besides producing reports, LegalSuite Online also allows you to create stunning Charts and Graphs using the data in your LegalSuite program using the Chart Builder.

Email Campaign Manager

Keeping in touch with your clients, marketing your firm and sending out emails is an important task in the high tech environment in which the modern attorney firm operates today.

The Address Book in LegalSuite provides a valuable resource - it contains the details and email addresses of each and every Party that has been involved in one or more Matters with your firm.

The Email Campaign Manager allows you to utilize this valuable data and send emails to your Clients and other Parties in your Address Book with the click of a button.

New Online Modules

Because it runs in a browser, LegalSuite Online can now provide web-based modules which use the power of the Internet to enhance and supplement the functionality of our Desktop-based program.

1) The Report Builder

The LegalSuite Report Builder allows you to design Reports which can be shared with other Employees or your Clients. It is easy to use and a simple Report typically takes a few minutes to design. It also has a number of advanced features which can be used to generate more complex Reports, but it has a user-friendly interface, simple layout and extensive help screens which guide you through the process.

The Report Builder has been designed to make report design as easy and as intuitive as possbile. Designing a Report comprises of selecting the Main Table (i.e. the database table the Report will loop through) and adding columns from a dropdown list. Although it has a number of advanced options as well, creating a simple Report is as easy as that.

The exciting part, however, is that every Report is assigned a unique Url (e.g. https://online.legalsuite.net/report/1000) which allows it to be accessed over the Internet. This URL can be sent to an Employee or Client who can simply click on the link and generate the Report themselves in their browser.

Benefits

The Report accesses data from your LegalSuite database in real time using the LegalSuite API which means the Report is always up-to-date and reflects the current status as it exists on your system. More importantly, your Clients (and Employees) can view the Report at any time, anywhere, using any device.

The LegalSuite Report Builder not only allows you to create internal Reports, but it can also be used to create reports for your Clients. What's more, you even can schedule the Report to be emailed to your Client on a Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis.

In today's competitive environment it is essential that a Legal Firm provides the best possible service to their Clients. A common request from many corporate Clients and other stakeholders (such as Estate Agents) is to receive daily or weekly reports on the status of their Matters.

Generating these reports can be an onerous task which uses up resources and is often quite time-consuming. The report then has to be emailed to the Client on a regular basis and the whole process is generally ineffecient and unsatisfactory - for both parties.

By designing the Client's report in the LegalSuite Report Builder, you only have to do it once!

Once you have created the Report, you can send the Report's Url to the Client and they simply click on the link, login with their credentials and generate the Report themselves.

Your Client now has access to the Report whenever they want and can generate it 24/7 from anywhere using any device. What's more, the Report contains real-time data which means they are always getting the latest, up-to-date information.

This is not only saves you from having to manually send reports to your Clients on a regular basis, but it also improves your service levels which enhances your value and ensures a long-lasting and mutually-beneficial relationship with your Clients.

2) Email Campaign Manager

The Email Campaign Manager allows you to utilize this valuable data and send emails to the Parties in your Address Book with the click of a button.

The Email Campaign Manager can be used to send newsletters, announcements and informational emails to your Clients on a regular basis or just to send once off emails to selected Parties. It can be a powerful marketing tool to ensure that your Clients and other Parties are regularly aware of your company and create top of the mind awareness.

You can use a Template to design the contents of the email body which will insert each Party's details (e.g. their salutation) in the appropriate place in the email.

You can add attachments to the email and can even attach the Debtors Account to the email.

Sending out Debtors Accounts is typically an onerous and tedious task. Using the Email Campaign Manager, you can now send these out on a regular basis on a Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis without any intervention on your part - it is all done automatically by the Email Campaign Manager.
